KMC, a campus with its pre-existing educational history beginning fin2016 B.S., got its preliminary identity as Kapilvastu Intermediate College, which, after undergoing long upheavals in its course of development,transformed into one authentic academic institution, naming itself Kapilvastu Multiple Campus, in 2037 B.S., following the very indomitable and vigorous efforts and struggles shown by the educational enthusiasts,intellectuals,social workers,civil society, and all concerned governmental offices of this Kapilvastu district,especially of Taulihawa surroundings, for promoting the necessity of this college. KMC is the first community-based campus ever run by the community people in the whole academic history of the western region of Nepal. With that very unprecedented achievement,at present,KMC is predominantly a very leading and successful academic institution. Not being influenced by any obsolete educational theories,it is marching ahead to maintain the international level of accreditation as shown by the U.G.C.
